Cabrera Goes All Nine, O’s Win 7-1
Cabrera gets the win to finish the season at 9-10.

Cabrera pitched a complete game shut out (I think…he gave up a run, but it was unearned) and flirted with a no-hitter until Robinson Cano hit a single with one out in the 9th inning. That one hit was all he would give up. He walked 2 and struck out 5 batters. Tonight, I drink to you Mr. Daniel Cabrera. Good game.

Ramon Hernandez is having a great month. He hit 2 more homeruns last night (his 22nd and 23rd) and continues to salvage his season here in September. Nick Markakis had 2 hits including a double. Miguel Tejada also had a couple of hits. Jay Gibbons and David Newhan each had 2 hits each. Jeff Fiorentino and Brian Roberts had the others.
Markakis watch: 2-5 (.296)
Erik Bedard (15-10, 3.76) gets his last start of the year. He’ll be facing Julian Tavarez (4-4, 4.52) and the Boston Red Sox. Go O’s.
