Trimming Down the Roster

The Orioles cut 9 more players from the Major League Spring Training roster today. They will all be going down to Sarasota for minor league camp. Those players are pitchers James Hoey, Michael Cory Doyne, Victor Moreno, and Francis Beltran, outfielders Jeff Fiorentino and Roger Cedeno, catcher Ryan Hubele, and infielders Cesar Crespo and Oscar Salazar.

The Orioles are 9-8-2 on the Spring after sweeping the 2 split squad games yesterday and then losing to the Red Sox today. Erik Bedard pitched 5 more shutout innings yesterday, lowering his spring ERA to 0.64.
